Investigators Ask For Help with Southbridge Fire
"The cause of the fire remains undetermined and the investigative team is hoping that someone in the community might have information"

State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey, Southbridge Fire Chief Mark W. DiFronzo, and Southbridge Police Chief Shane Woodson are asking for the public’s help with the investigation into the cause of this weekend’s fire at 310-312 Main Street. State Fire Marshal Ostroskey said, “The cause of the fire remains undetermined and the investigative team is hoping that someone in the community might have information that can help. The Arson Watch Reward Program posters do not mean the fire has been determined to be intentionally set, but rather to publicize the confidential toll-free number people can call if they saw or heard something before, during or in the earliest stages of the fire.” The Arson Hotline number is 1-800-682-9229.
The fire is being jointly investigated by the Southbridge Fire and Police Departments and State Police assigned to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
