Man Hits Numerous Cars, Charged With Assault To Murder, Drugs
A man is facing several charges including possessing cocaine and assault to murder after allegedly hitting numerous parked cars.

WORCESTER, MA—
Around 2:35 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, police were called to the area of Chilmark and Steward streets for an accident in which the driver, Christopher Mason, 31, Worcester, was leaving the scene. Mason drove a pickup and hit three parked cars on Chilmark Street before taking off, said police.
A 21-year-old woman was in one of the parked calls and sustained injuries to her neck and back. She was transported to the hospital.

Officers tried to stop Mason on Shrewsbury Street, during which he ignored them and shifted his vehicle back and forth several times before heading across to Casco Street and then to Albany Street, where he struck a building, said police.
After hitting the building, Mason continued on to Muskeego Street and struck a semi-trailer twice, still refusing to pull over. Continuing on Shrewsbury, he traveled to Waite Street and Wilson Street, where he rammed into three parked cars, said police. Officers had to jump out of the way as Mason drove onto the sidewalk and accelerated, with residents coming out of their homes to see the commotion.

Officers pulled Mason from the vehicle and put him in cuffs.
Six small bags of cocaine were in the car.
Mason, 31, Steward Street, Worcester was charged with Assault to Murder, Disturbing the Peace, Operator Failing to Wear a Seatbelt, Leaving the Scene of Personal Injury, Leaving the Scene of Property Damage, Operating Negligently so as to Endanger, Failure to Stop for Police, Possession of Class B Substance, and Stop Sign Violation.
