Meth, 14 Guns Seized In Worcester Bust: Police

A 56-year-old Worcester man was arrested during the Tuesday Kinney Drive raid.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police arrested a 56-year-old city man Tuesday after finding methamphetamine and more than a dozen guns inside his Kinney Drive home.

Near 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, police went Alexander Shtudiner's home in the Tatnuck area to serve a search warrant. Once inside the home, police found "a large amount of what appeared to be methamphetamine with packaging materials."

Police also found 14 guns, including six handguns, five rifles and three shotguns. Shtudiner was arrested on charges of drug trafficking, possession of a sawed off shotgun and various other weapons law violations.

Shtudiner was previously sentenced to prison for receiving stolen property, according to court records. He was arrested in 2011 after police from Worcester and other local towns spotted stolen electronics inside a computer repair shop he operated. He was later sentenced to two concurrent six-month terms for receiving stolen property.
