Rivera Presents New England’s Future 3 Fight at DCU Center

From the DCU Center: Rivera Promotions Entertainment will showcase New England’s best boxing prospects with their 3rd event in 6 months. Jose Antonio Rivera, a 3-time world champion boxer, actor and Worcester native, announced that he will host his next fight card at the DCU Center on June 10th.

Rivera has starred in films such as The Fighter with Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale; Little Accidents withElizabeth Banks, Chloe Sevigny and Josh Lucas and The Game Plan with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. As a pro boxer, Rivera won the IBO Welterweight World Championship and WBA Welterweight World Championship. In 2006, he took the WBA Junior Middleweight World Championship in his hometown of Worcester, MA.

Today, Jose Antonio Rivera runs a promotional company with his son, Rivera Promotions Entertainment, to help foster and promote the careers of local fighters.
