Series Of Food Delivery Robberies In Worcester Under Investigation
The delivery drivers have been called one specific neighborhooed at late hours, only to be confronted by armed robbers.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police are investigating a series of recent robberies of food delivery drivers that share similarities, including occurring all in the same neighborhood.
In each case, the delivery drivers traveled to an address where they were confronted by men armed with guns. The robbers left the drivers unharmed, police said.
The robberies began on Aug. 12, when a driver went to a Lund Street home in the Vernon Hill neighborhood during the early morning hours. Two armed men greeted the driver and took cash.

The second robbery happened Aug. 15 just before midnight along Doane Street, just about one block southeast of Lund Street. The two men waiting to accept the food took the driver's cash as he was handing them change, police said.
The third robbery happened Sunday just before 10 p.m. along Esther Street, which intersects with Lund. Two armed men took the driver's iPhone and cash.
