State Police Arrest 3 in Auburn For Trafficking Cocaine
After a struggle, and the use of a taser, a man was taken to the ground and three were charged with trafficking cocaine.

AUBURN, MA—Patrols on Wednesday pulled an Acura TSX over around 7:30 p.m. on I-290 in Auburn, the driver committing multiple vehicle violations. Three occupants were inside.
The operator was identified as Carlos Martinez, 42, and the rear passenger as James Evans, 28, both from Bronx, NY. The front passenger was identified as Joy Green, 38 of Dexter, ME.
A trooper tried to frisk Evans for weapons but he pulled his arms away and tried to pull free, being taken down by Trooper Flynn. Evans continued to resist, attempting to stop troopers from pulled a package of narcotics he was concealing in his pants.

The struggle continued for several moments before Trooper Zanni administered several bursts of OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) spray, but the spray had no effect on Evans, who became more aggressive. Troopers tased Evans on his back, and got the package from his hands, said police. The substance was believed to be cocaine, with a weight of over 101 grams.
All three occupants were transported to the Holden Barracks for booking and charged with Trafficking in Cocaine and Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws. Evans was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest and Failure to wear a Seatbelt.
