Suspect Allegedly Poops Pants During Southbridge Arrest Struggle
When officers fought with a suspect who allegedly had a substantial amount of heroin on him, he defecated himself during the struggle.

SOUTHBRIDGE, MA—A Webster man is facing several charges, including disorderly conduct and distributing heroin, in a vehicle stop that turned into a struggle that caused the suspect to unload his bowels.
Around 4:20 p.m. on Friday, March 23, Officer Darren Dodge and Officer Charlie Williams pulled a car over on Main Street for a moving violation. When they approached the car, they spotted the driver - later identified as Luis Melendez-Rubero - reach down with both hands.
Melendez-Rubero jumped out of the car, pushed Williams, and tried to flee, swinging his elbows and striking the officers. During the struggle, Melendez-Rubero tried to throw several white bags into a drain nearby. Officers got him into handcuffs and also got two bundles of bags (about 20) of suspected heroin, as well as ten loose baggies of heroin that were likely packaged to sell. Melendez-Rubero defecated himself during the struggle and he was transported to police headquarters to be booked, said the report.
