#TBT: Dolly Parton Hanging With Worcester Cops, Way Back

Here's a shot of Dolly with 2 officers who were assigned to her backstage. "I brought her and six of her people to the El Morocco."

WORCESTER, MA—Tom Belezarian said she was one of the nicest and sweetest people he had ever dealt with as a police officer.

Country legend Dolly Parton was on tour, opening for Kenny Rogers at the Worcester Centrum (and who doesn't still call the DCU Centre that?) on Nov. 30, 1985. It was shortly after the Centrum opened.

Worcester officers Jim Pedone and Tom Belezarian were assigned to her for security back stage.
