Kenadek, 52, of the same address, initially had been charged with aggravated assault and battery and domestic assault and battery in Dudley District Court. The investigation showed that Kenadek and Hatheway were involved in a loud argument that spilled over to a porch and eventually to the street.
Court documents showed that Hatheway's cheek was swollen and her left eye was closed when she was found in the street by officers, who administered Narcan, reported MassLive. Kenedek reportedly told officers he used heroin the night before as he tried to pick Hatheway up, blood on the side of his face and on his shirt and hands. A neighbor told police he heard Hatheway scream, and that Kenadek had a hammer in his hand, and was seen stomping on her head with his foot, reported MassLive.
