WORCESTER, MA — As COVID-19 cases rise in Massachusetts and around the country, some places in the state are beginning to implement their own health and safety policies. The Worcester Art Museum is among them.
The museum launched a mask mandate Monday that requires all visitors to wear them — unless proof of COVID-19 vaccination is provided.
According to the museum, proof of vaccination includes the CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card, or a photocopy or photograph of the card.

On July 30, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health issued a public health advisory encouraging all unvaccinated residents to continue to wear masks in indoor settings and when they can’t socially distance. The advisory also recommends that vaccinated residents who are at increased risk from COVID-19, or who live with someone at increased risk, should wear a face covering indoors (other than in their home).
