Worcester Police Dog Stabbed Multiple Times In Head
K9 Beebs is expected to recover from injuries sustained rushed to a local animal hospital.

WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester police dog was rushed to a local animal hospital after being stabbed multiple times in the head with a screwdriver Saturday morning. Police were called to Foster Street in Worcester around 9:30 a.m. after reports of a man threatening to stab a bus driver. Police located the man hiding in nearby shrubs.
When the man refused to surrender, Beebs was released. The man, who was not identified, stabbed the dog multiple times in the head before being arrested. Beebs suffered a laceration to his mouth and several wounds to his head with swelling but is expected to recover from his injuries.
