Worcester Store Owner Sentenced To 8 Months For Food Stamp Fraud
The owner of Esther's Fashion Paradise pleaded guilty to a food stamp scheme.

WORCESTER, MA—The owner of a clothing store last year pleaded guilty to a food stamp scheme, and on Wednesday was sentenced to eight months in federal prison, according to reports.
Esther Acquaye, 31, and owner of Esther's Fashion Paradise, was sentenced for facilitating the scheme, which was worth nearly $300,000, according to the Worcester Business Journal. She was also given three years of supervised release and ordered to pay $285,000 in restitution.
