Brother Rice Tennis Player's Second Loss of the Season Was His Last

Brother Rice junior Johnny Cameron had only two losses during the 2011 season — unfortunately it was in the last match of the state finals.

Playing in No. 4 singles, Cameron made it to the state finals Oct. 15-16, winning a 3 1/2 hour semi-final match against Ann Arbor Huron's Yeon-Woo Chung.

He then played 45 minutes later in the final match against No. 1 seed Andrew Ying of Novi. Cameron had defeated Ying earlier in the season however Ying came out on top in the state finals.
