β€’ TCH has buyer, requests court to nix lawsuit (downtownpublications.com) β€” Birmingham’s Community House Association is asking a judge to dismiss the city’s lawsuit seeking to block the sale of its landmark Bates Street building, arguing Birmingham has no legal standing and deed restrictions allow the deal. A well-funded charitable buyer has reportedly offered above appraised value, plans to keep many current uses, and could take over as soon as July 1 if the sale closes in February.

The Knights’ twin towers, 6-7 junior Gavin Delaney and 6-6 senior Jack Cooper, combined inside play and outside skills to create matchup problems that could make Northern a Lakes Valley contender.
