On the Agenda: School Board to Hear Kindergarten Report

The Birmingham Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the district's administrative offices.

Reports

• Deputy superintendent for educational services Paul DeAngelis will present a report on kindergarten services in the district.
• Marcia Wilkinson, director of community relations, will present on diversity.
• Kelly Lovik, executive director of special education, will provide the board with an update on the district's special education program.

Resolutions

• To designate the board of education as the policyholder for employee group healthcare insurance benefits for all district employees for medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, disability and any other type of benefit.
• To certify compliance with the provisions of Section 22f of the state School Aid Act, therefore bringing in an additional $100 per pupil.
• To approve action on the leadership services recommendations.
