The Nov. 8 election is quickly approaching but if you're worried about not making it to the poll on Tuesday, don't forget about voting absentee.
If you haven't applied for an absentee ballot, you stiill have time to pick one up at the City Clerk's Office during regular business hours Monday, or download the application at www.bhamgov.org/voting.
Although the city encourages residents to turn in their absentee ballots, all absentee ballots must be turned in by 8 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots can be mailed or faxed in, or turned in directly at the clerk's office.
