See 'The Lion King,' 'The Lorax' and More During 2013's Birmingham Movie Nights
The dates are set for the 2013 summer season of movies in Booth Park.

It's still cold outside and the last thing you may be thinking of is laying down a blanket to watch a movie under the stars. However get ready, because the dates are set and the films selected for 2013's movie nights in Booth Park.
Now in its eighth year, the movie nights are sponsored by the Birmingham Principal Shopping District and the Birmingham Bloomfield Community Coalition.Â
Each summer, Booth Park has welcomed more than 3,000 residents and families to enjoy classic, family-friendly movies from Disney and Pixar. This year's films are sure to please movie-goers, no matter what their age:

But movies aren't the only attraction during these family events. Before the show, catch performances from local bands or other groups around town. Last year, the event hosted performances from "Four Stories," Carl Sterr and the students from Malota's Birmingham Martial Arts.Â
Plus, don't forget: there's plenty of popcorn, cotton candy and ice cream available all night long; movie-goers can bring their own snacks as well.Â
