Whole Foods Market Set For Wednesday Opening
The store is relocating from Troy to Birmingham and will be located on Maple Road.

BIRMINGHAM, MI — Whole Foods Market will open the doors to its brand new Birmingham store on Wednesday. Located at 2100 E. Maple Road, the store will feature everything from “The Maple Road Taproom” to an expanded bakery and a host of Michigan-made products, according to Birmingham Eccentric Newspaper report.
“We’ve served the Birmingham area for years at our Somerset location and now we’re going to develop an even closer relationship with the community at our new store,” Michigan marketing supervisor Dawn Danhausen said. “We’re twice the size of our Troy store and that gives us the opportunity to offer more choices, more soups and salads, a coffee bar and lots of other fun surprises.”
“The Maple Road Taproom: Featuring 24 local beers on tap, along with made-to-order breakfast, lunch and dinner options, such as the bacon breakfast bowl, fresh roasted Brussels sprouts, the Beyond Meat vegan burger and Nashville hot chicken. The taproom also includes an outdoor dining patio that stretches along Maple Road.”
