5 Places to See During Bloomfield Hills Celebration Day

Get a closer look at these 'gems' within the Bloomfield Hills city limits during this special celebration.

We already told you about the activities and special demonstrations planned at the Department of Public Safety's open house from 1 - 5 p.m. Sunday. But there's much more than that to Bloomfield Hills, and Bloomfield Hills Celebration Day.

What else can you see?

Christ Church Cranbrook
Tour one of the first Cranbrook institutions ever built, the Episcopal church founded in 1928 by George and Ellen Scripps Booth. Docents will teach visitors about the architecture and the artists and craftsmen who built the historic landmark.

Cranbrook
Cranbrook will offer free general admission and membership discounts for Bloomfield Hills residents and guests at three of its most popular destinations:

St. Hugo of the Hills Catholic Church
Tour the historic church and learn about its creation from docents.

The Village Club
Take a tour of the clubhouse and the grounds that comprise the seven-acre landmark, established in 1956. A special “Celebrate Bloomfield Hills” brunch will be served from 10 a.m. — 2 p.m. ($31 for adults, $16 for children under 12) by reservation at 248-644-5155. A complimentary ice cream social will follow from 2 – 5 p.m.
