
Thirteen area artists — including ones from Bloomfield Hills and Bloomfield Township — took home prizes at the 26th annual , held this Thursday through Saturday at in Birmingham.
This juried, all-media art show featured more than 365 pieces this year from 184 Michigan artists. In total, $10,000 in prize money was given out while 35 percent of the proceeds from art sales will benefit The Community House's outreach programs.
The Our Town Art Show ends Saturday at 6 p.m. Admission is free though donations are accepted. Votes will be accepted until 3 p.m. Saturday to determine this year's winner of the People's Choice Award.
