Bloomfield Hills Celebration Day Draws Crowds

The truck bays at the Bloomfield Hills Department of Public Safety were filled with civilians Sunday who got a closer, first-hand look at what the cross-trained officers do and how.

From live fire demonstrations to a Taser-deployment discussion, residents of all ages got to participate in Bloomfield Hills Department of Public Safety Open House 2013, and left with a better appreciation of what goes on behind the scenes to keep people safe.


It was one of five landmarks throughout the city that participated with open houses and tours.
