Bloomfield Hills Residents Injured After Police Chase In Indiana
Pair Hurt In Accident Caused By Fleeing Suspects

A police chase in Warsaw, Indiana Saturday, Jan. 13, resulted in a crash that killed two people, according to Fox 59. Two Bloomfield Hills residents traveling in the area sustained serious injuries in the accident, and remain in a local hospital.
Indiana State Troopers responding a theft at a Meijer store around 9:22 p.m. saw a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am that had been described as the suspects’ car and tried to pull the driver over, but he fled instead, getting on US 30 East. According to police, the car then ignored a red light at an intersection, and crashed into three other cars. Both the driver and passenger in the Grand Am, Jacob Slone, 19, and Paige Jefferson, 16, were killed in the crash.
Miguel Linares Jr. 34, and Nora Linares, 35, both of Bloomfield Hills, were seriously hurt. According to police, Miguel Linares is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Nora Linares’ injuries are not life-threatening, but remain serious.
