Bloomfield Township Police Update: Home Invasion, Fraud

The Bloomfield Township Police Department released an update on crimes the department is currently investigating. Todays’s report summarizes incidents that took place over the last month.
Fraud
On December 16, 2017 around 8 p.m., a Bloomfield Township woman came into the police station to report
fraud involving her credit card. Her account number was used to place a “Click-List” order online with a Kroger store in Roseville. The fraudulent transaction occurred earlier that day, around 12:51 p.m. The victim never lost possession of the card. Pictures provided by Kroger show a suspect receiving the order in the parking lot. The vehicle appears to be a gray Volkswagen Jetta.

Home Invasion
A home invasion occurred on the 700 block of Upper Scotsborough Way Jan. 3, between 2 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. The residents came home, saw that their front door had been forced open, and entered to find that the bedroom had been ransacked and jewelry was stolen.

Breaking and Entering
Sometime between noon on Jan. 11 and 8 p.m. Jan. 16, an unknown suspects or suspects broke into an apartment storage unit on the 400 block of South Fox Hills. A building resident went to her storage unit to retrieve an item Jan. 16 and discovered the forced entry. Nothing was taken from her unit. Two other storage units were also broken into, but residents aren’t sure if anything was stolen.
