Bloomfield Township Residents Invited to 'Clean Sweep'
Eighth annual event on Saturday aims to clean up debris from safety paths and roadways.

Bloomfield Township residents are encouraged to take an active role in their community this weekend at the eighth annual Clean Sweep.
The event, taking place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, is designed to spruce up the right-of-way areas near safety paths, throughout neighborhoods and at the entrances to subdivisions within the township.
The township will provide orange garbage bags and paper yard waste bags for the litter and debris. Volunteers will also receive a Clean Sweep t-shirt or a reusable tote bag while supplies last, according to the township's web site.
