There's a lot to do in and around Bloomfield Township and Bloomfield Hills this weekend. Take a peek.

Haunted Corn Maze

The Bloomfield Hills Schools' Corn Maze, which hosted its opening weekend earlier this month, returns this weekend with a spooky twist as visitors to the Bowers School Farm, can add the haunted maze to the three skill-level mazes.   The haunted maze, which is on a different course, runs from dusk until 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 18, 19, 25, 26. Activities at the Corn Maze run until 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Sensory Saturday Story Time

Join the staff at the Bloomfield Township Public Library for a special interactive story time that includes rhythm, movement, and sensory-friendly fun. For ages 3-10, and designed for children with developmental delays and other learning challenges.

Halloween Science

The Cranbrook Institute of Science will host a special Halloween Science event from 2-4 p.m. Saturday. Registration closes at 5 p.m. Thursday. Participants will hear special presentations, have fun during make and take activities, scavenger hunts, witness giant cockroaches and chuck pumpkins with a trebuchet. Tickets are $13 per child and $2 per adult for members and $16 per child and $5 per adult for the non-members.

Youth Tours at Cranbrook Art Museum

The Cranbrook Art Museum will host young artists for drop-in programs that incorporate art, science, movement, storytelling and craft, during Youth Tours at 2 p.m. Sunday. The programs are designed for children in pre-kindergarten through pre-teen age, and will expose participants to different styles of painting and art.

Final Farmers Market

Enjoy free giveaways, crafts for kids, pumpkin carving demonstrations and more for the final time this year at the Birmingham Farmers' Market Sunday. The market will mark its 13th season from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Children are welcome in costume!
