• Saline Area Players hold Auditions for Rentschler Farm Show

Saline Area Players hold auditions for their annual show at Rentschler Farm.  Auditions will occur at 7PM on Monday, August 19 at the Liberty School Auditorium, 7265 N. Ann Arbor St.  The show date will be October 6 – there will be two shows in the afternoon (1PM & 3PM) in the barn at Rentschler Farm for those coming to their annual “Harvest Time on the Farm.”

• Larry Martin's WWII: In Their Own Words

Join us for this taped interview documenting the story of Tuskegee Airman Lt. Col. Alexander Jefferson.  Mr. Jefferson flew 18 combat missions before being shot down on August 12, 1944 over Toulon, France.  Mr. Jefferson was taken as a POW and sent to Stalag Luft 3 in Poland, the prison camp featured in the movie The Great Escape starring Steve McQueen and James Garner.
