Chelsea District Library Seeks Trustee for Board

The Chelsea District Library Board of Trustees is accepting letters of interest from qualified candidates from the City of Chelsea, Lyndon, Sylvan or Dexter townships for an At Large trustee position.

This is a four-year term that begins on Jan. 1, 2013 and ends Dec. 31, 2016.

The board is in charge of the annual library budget and policies governing the library.

As the District Library Agreement prohibits more than two representatives from any one municipality and as the Township of Lima is currently represented by the maximum of two people, recommendations from Lima Township cannot be accepted for this vacancy.
