Police Investigating Destruction of Property Complaint in Chelsea
The following information was provided by the Chelsea Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
Chelsea police officers were called to the 500 block of McKinley Street Aug. 6 at 5:24 p.m. after a resident reported his car damaged.
According to the report, the officer talked the owner of the vehicle and learned that the car had been parked on the side of the garage at the address since Aug. 4.
The report states that the owner returned to get his car on Aug. 6 and noticed a large scratch that extended from the driver's side door to the back of the car.
There are no suspects at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
