Border Patrol Officer Tried To Send Nudes To Teen: Sheriff
A U.S. Border worker sent nude photos to a Snapchat user who claimed to be a 15-year-old girl, police say. It was actually his rival.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A U.S. Customs and Border Protection worker has been charged with sending nude photos to a reported rival who posed as a teen girl online. Now both men face charges in the incident.
Macomb County Sheriff's Officials said Thursday that they first learned about the interactions April 5, when 39-year-old Garrett McMahan reported another man, Joshua Pringle, was posting inappropriate pictures on his social media page. The photos were of McMahan’s genitalia that he had sent to the user he believed was a 15-year-old girl, according to a press release issued by the Sheriff’s Office.
McMahan reportedly accepted Pringle's friend request and messaged the "teen" through Snapchat before sending pictures of his genitals, authorities said. The sheriff's Macomb Area Computer Enforcement unit investigated and found that McMahan once dated an ex-girlfriend of Pringle, who used unauthorized pictures to create a fake Facebook profile claiming he was a 15-year-old female, according to reports.

Pringle has been charged with one count of attempted unlawful posting of a message, which is a one-year misdemeanor. The 32-year-old pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 months of probation and a fine, authorities said.
McMahan was arraigned Thursday in Clinton Township's 41-B District Court on two felonies: one count each of accosting children for immoral purposes and using computers or the internet to communicate with another to commit a crime.

McMahan’s bond was set at $100,000 and he was ordered to have no contact with minors or use computers, as well as be on house arrest with a tether if released. He will return to court July 11.
