St. Thecla Homecoming Picnic Boasts Camel Rides, Wally's Frozen Custard, Polish Food

With camel rides, duck races, Polish platters and Wally's Frozen Custard, the 2012 St. Thecla Homecoming isn't your typical parish picnic.

Set for Sunday, Sept. 23, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., on the parish grounds, located at 20740 S. Nunneley Road in Clinton Township, the event will include:

• an entertainment tent,
• carnival games,
• duck races,
• bake sale,
• face painting,
• petting zoo,
• exotic animals,
• camel rides,
• bounce house,
• and a used book sale.
