The Clinton River Watershed Council is holding its weekly clean event Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at George George Memorial Park in Clinton Township.

The Clinton River Watershed Council is looking for volunteers this week to clean up portions of the Clinton River that run through Clinton Township.
The council hosts clean events every Wednesday from 10 am. to noon in cities and townships across southeast Michigan. Each week is dedicated to a different location within the watershed or along the shoreline of Lake St. Clair.
On Wednesday, Oct. 10, volunteers are needed at George George Memorial Park on Moravian to pick up garbage and debris from the banks of the Clinton River.
