Carjacking, Shots Fired At Police In Dearborn: Report
A police scene unfolded on the east side of Dearborn early Wednesday morning after a woman was assaulted and carjacked.

DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn police have reportedly arrested one person after an assault and carjacking suspect allegedly shot at police officers early Wednesday morning.
According to WDIV, the suspect assaulted, robbed and carjacked a woman around 2:30 a.m. He then crashed that car into an officer's vehicle and fired a gunshot at police. It's unknown how many gunshots the man fired, Channel 4 reported. No officers were injured.
A perimeter was set up in the neighborhood to the north and east of Ford and Chase roads. Police were searching for this suspect but the search was called off later Wednesday morning.
