The following information was supplied by the Dearborn Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two children's bicycles were stolen from Ten Eyck Park while their owners swam in a nearby community pool on Wednesday.
According to Dearborn police officers, a 9-year-old and 12-year-old reported seeing two men remove the unsecured bicycles from the park's bike rack area around 3:30 p.m.
The first suspect was described as a black male with short curly hair, approximately 16 years old wearing bluejeans and no shirt. The second suspect was a black male approximately 16 years old with short curly hair wearing gym shorts and carrying a white T-shirt.
Upon searching the nearby area, officers discovered a bicycle matching the children's description on the front lawn at a residence in the 3000 block of Roosevelt Street. The homeowner told police he did not know who the bike belonged to, however he said he saw his brother riding it in the neighborhood earlier that day. Officers confiscated the bicycle and returned it to its owner.
