Dearborn Police Investigate Appoline Street Death

Police have not yet released the cause of death.

DEARBORN, MI — The Dearborn Police Department is investigating a death on Appoline Street they discovered Monday morning, according to a release from the department.

Police responded to the Appoline address around 7 a.m. Monday on a report of an injured person. They arrived to find a 26-year-old Marine City man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives and investigators went to the address to gather evidence and canvas the area.

The victim's name is being withheld pending family notification.

"This loss of life is tragic and on behalf of the Dearborn Police Department, I extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of the young man," Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in the release.
