Dearborn Public Library Honors Student Artists
Bookmarks featuring winners of the student art contest will be printed and made available at the libraries.

The Dearborn Public Library is proud to announce the winners in its annual bookmark contest.
The annual contest is held each year during March is Reading Month. Any student living in the city of Dearborn or enrolled in a Dearborn area school is eligible to enter. Â

Winners from each grade were chosen by library staff. The 10 winners are:
Grade 1: Mera Abusabha, Snow School; Joaquin Franco, Snow School

Grade 2: Malak Alkirsh, Snow School; Avery Andrews, Lindbergh School
Grade 3: Olivia Dobos, Snow School; Natalia Oliver, Snow School
Grade 4: Noor Almosawi, Oakman School; Hadi Tawil, Oakman School
Grade 5: Ava Dobos, Snow School; Lily Kanclerz, Snow School
These students were chosen from 247 entries submitted from Dearborn area schools. Â
Winning bookmarks are paired with recommended reads for each grade and are professionally printed. Contest winners receive a set of their bookmarks to distribute to friends and family.
