Divine Child Girls Track Wins Pair of State Titles

The girls track and field team picked up a pair of state championships at the Division 2 finals Saturday at Grand Rapids.

Mallory Myler, Carolinne Strasser, Liz Mullen and Paige Patterson of Divine Child claimed the state title in the 800-meter relay with a time of 1:42.41.

The same group—Myler, Mullen, Straser and Patterson—combined to prevail in the 1,600 relay with a time of 3:59.67.

Divine Child finished second in the team standings with 44 points. Detroit Country Day was first with 58.
