Dix Family Care Pharmacy Burglarized

The following information was supplied by the Dearborn Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Four unidentified men broke into a Dearborn pharmacy early Monday morning and stole cash from a register and several bottles of prescription drugs, police said.

The incident occurred at roughly 5:19 a.m. at the Dix Family Care Pharmacy, located at 10035 E. Vernor Highway.

Police said one man used bolt cutters to cut the padlock off of the store's metal security gate while two other suspects pried open the pharmacy's front door. Several bottles of prescription drugs and a cash register with $100 was taken from the store.

Images obtained from the store's security cameras could not properly identify the suspects or their vehicle, police said.

Police spoke with attendants at the nearby Mobil gas station, however no one reported seeing anything suspicious.

The case is still under investigation.
