Failed Comerica Bank Robber Sought By Dearborn Police

On Tuesday, a man walked into a Telegraph Road Comerica Bank, pointed a gun at a teller and demanded money. The robbery attempted failed.

DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn Police are searching for a failed bank robber. On Tuesday at about 11:55 a.m., a man walked into a Telegraph Road Comerica Bank, pointed a handgun at a teller and demanded money.

The man, whom police described as a black male wearing a grey sweat suit and a black knit hat, ended up fleeing the bank on foot without any money. Police released a video of the incident:

“With help from the community, we will identify the suspect, and use all available resources to apprehend this individual,” said Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad.

Comerica Bank is offering up to a $2000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects involved in the incident. The Dearborn Police is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the male suspect in this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department at (313) 943-2241.
