Here Are The Best Christmas Decorations In Dearborn

DEARBORN, MI — Move over Clark W. Griswold, the City of Dearborn has its own masters of Christmas lights and decorations and they have been selected as honorees in this year’s Dearborn Beautiful Commission’s annual “City Aglow” program.

Judges were prowling the city’s neighborhood streets Dec. 7 to 10 to select three homes from the city’s 17 districts to recognize as the most festively decorated homes in all of Dearborn.
Homeowners who receive recognition will be honored by the commission and Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr. at a ceremony scheduled for January 24. For now, their hard work and holiday cheer is on display for all to enjoy.

Two special Hall of Fame recognitions were given to Gary and Melissa Przywara, of 23830 Yale Street, and John and Maryellen Cusik, of 24421 Emerson Street. The Hall of Fame recognition is given to honorees who have been awarded multiple years.

The City Beautiful Commission also honors homeowners for their landscaping and excellent property maintenance in the summer months and recognizes businesses for their beautification efforts.
