Metro Detroit Communities Opting Out Of The Weed Business

Cities all across the region are weighing in on letting recreational marijuana businesses into their communities.

METRO DETROIT, MI — Metro Detroit communities are weighing on whether they want the recreational marijuana business operating within their cities and several are opting out of the income-generating new business.

Many cities are still considering, such as Royal Oak, while others have already decided against it. Don’t forget, it could still be until 2020 because such businesses are licensed and operating.

Here is a look at some of the Metro Detroit cities that have already said no now that weed was legalized in the state this month:
