Shooting Leaves 2 Wounded In Dearborn

Two men were shot inside of a Dearborn gas station late Wednesday.

DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn Police are investigating a shooting at gas station in the area of Tireman Street and Greenfield Road that left two people with injuries late Wednesday. Two men “suffered multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies, but were able to speak with officers,” Dearborn police stated in a news release.

Both men were transported to an area hospital where they are in stable condition, Dearborn Police said. Officers responded to the scene at about 11 p.m. Tuesday. A man approached them, told officers that he had a concealed pistol permit and was involved in an altercation inside the business.

Police said all three men knew each other. Police did not identify any of the men, where they are from or their ages.

“My investigators will continue to interview witnesses and gather evidence pertaining to this case,” Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in the news release. “We will confer with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office to determine what charges, if any, will be brought against the individuals involved in this incident.”
