Teen Stabbed Multiple Times In Dearborn, 2 Other Teens Arrested: Cops
Police said the stabbing happened during a fight between two groups of boys.
DEARBORN, MI — Two teens were arrested in connection with a Dearborn stabbing that left a 16-year-old boy injured Wednesday night, according to police.
The stabbing happened at 11 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Warren and Schaefer in Dearborn, according to police.
Police said a group of boys got into an argument with two other boys who were walking in the area.

The argument escalated into a fight when several boys from the larger group attacked one of the two boys, stabbing him multiple times with a knife before fleeing the scene, according to police.
The 16-year-old boy was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery, according to police.

Officers arrested two 15-year-old boys in connection with the stabbing, according to police.
They were placed at the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Facility, according to police.
Police submitted a warrant request to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office – Juvenile Division for potential charges.
"While we are relieved that the victim is expected to survive, this incident highlights the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully. Our officers acted quickly to provide life-saving aid and apprehend a suspect, but we must continue to work together as a community to ensure our young people understand the consequences of violence and choose a better path," Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin said.
