1 Injured, 1 Missing After Detroit House Explodes, Others Catch Fire: Reports
One person was injured and another is missing after a home exploded in Detroit on Saturday afternoon, reports said.
DETROIT, MI — One person was injured and another is missing after a house exploded Saturday afternoon on Detroit’s east side and several other homes caught fire, according to multiple reports.
A home in the 19400 block of McCormick Street, in the area of Interstate 94 and Moross, exploded around 4 p.m., Fox 2 said.
One person who was injured escaped the home. As of 6:30 p.m., crews were searching another person still, reports said.

At least two other houses were damaged by fire, WXYZ reported. No one was inside either home at the time of the fires.
