27-Year-Old Killed In Redford Township: Police

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, MI — A man was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in Redford Township, according to police.

Officers responded just before 3 p.m. to the area of Garfield and Clarita streets, police said. They found a 27-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds, according to police, and he was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead.

No suspects were immediately in custody and police were asking anyone with information, including surveillance footage, to contact Detective Edward French at 313-387-2579. Police do not believe there is a threat to the public.
