70-year-old Man Found Dead In Michigan’s Subzero Temps

A man was found frozen and dead in Detroit early Wednesday morning, according to a report.

DETROIT, MI — A 70-year-old man was found frozen and dead in Detroit early Wednesday morning, according to reports.

Temperatures dropped below zero overnight with wind chills of -30. Police reportedly went to do a wellbeing check on the man and found him dead a little after 8 a.m. in the freezing temperatures, FOX2 reported.

Police said they were first called to check on him as a missing person around 2 a.m. in the 1200 block of Webb, but they were unable to find him at the time. Six hours later, police were called back and found the man frozen, the report said.

A cause of death has not been officially determined and his identity has not been released.
