Boy, 14, Injured In Detroit Hit-And-Run Crash: Police
Investigators have not identified a suspect.
DETROIT — Police are asking the public for help in a hit-and-run crash that left a 14-year-old boy injured Saturday night in Detroit.
The incident happened at 9:55 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Seven Mile and Archdale Street, Detroit Police Cmdr. Shelley Holderbaum told reporters.
Holderbaum said the 14-year-old boy was riding a minibike when he was hit by a car that did not stop.

The boy was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition, Holderbaum said.
Investigators have not identified a suspect. They were planning to review cameras in the area to identify the suspect's vehicle.

She asked anyone with information to call 1-800-SPEAKUP or Detroit Rewards TV.
"We hope to get tips and information from the public. We need some help and some assistance, so please if you know anything, say something, call it in," Holderbaum said.
