Cars Struck By Objects In Troy-Detroit Corridor Of I-75
Michigan State Police issued a warning via Twitter about objects hitting vehicles traveling on I-75 between Troy and Detroit.

DETROIT – Michigan State Police posted an alert on Twitter for anyone driving between Detroit and Troy along I-75. In the warnings, State Police describe drivers’ reports that their cars were struck by “projectiles” Sunday afternoon.
According to the Tweeted warning, between 3:10 p.m. and 3:25 p.m. on Sunday, Feb, 18, “the Metro North post received phone calls in reference to 3 vehicles struck by an unknown projectile from Rochester Rd to the Davidson on SB 75. It does not appear these projectiles are road debris. Evidence Techs are currently inspecting the cars.”
Police have done preliminary exams on the cars and don’t yet know what hit them, although they say it seems unlikely to be simple road debris. Monday, the updated their Twitter feed to say that evidence techs have ruled out bullets or bullet fragments as what may have struck the cars. If your car was struck, contact the MSP online, or you can reach the Metro North post of the MSP by phone at (248) 584-5740.
