This Metro Detroit Pizzeria Is Beefing Up Its Menu For A Limited Time

METRO DETROIT — A popular Detroit pizza chain is beefing up its menu to go beyond its well-known square pizzas.

Buddy's Pizza, best known as the creator of the Detroit-style pizza, is adding smash burgers, housemade onion rings and cauliflower wings to its menu.

The Smash Burger offers four double-patty smash burgers, served as classic, cheesy, BBQ or spicy.

The pizzeria is also offering a limited-time smash burger pizza. The "Smash Stacks Pizza," features seasoned ground beef, Wisconsin brick cheese and caramelized onions, topped with Buddy’s Smash Sauce, lettuce and crunchy dill chips. It will only be available in July.

Lastly, the pizzeria is adding a Faygo Rock and Rye Float, which will also only be available in July. The sweet features Hudsonville vanilla ice cream with Faygo Rock & Rye pop.

Buddy’s has locations in Ann Arbor, Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Canton, Clarkston, Dearborn, Detroit, downtown Detroit, Farmington Hills, Grand Rapids, Grosse Pointe, Livonia, Novi, Okemos, Plymouth, Royal Oak, Shelby Twp., Troy, Warren and Woodhaven.
