Detroit police received a tip around 3 a.m. Monday that Moore was at the Rivertown Inn and set up a perimeter and surveilled the suspect, Craig said.

When Moore left the hotel, he was looking around, prompting Craig to say he believed he knew police were in an unmarked van near the motel.
