Detroit Slots Player Hits $1.2M Jackpot

DETROIT — A player broke the record for the largest jackpot ever won on a slot machine at the MGM Grand Detroit.

The player won $1,271,645 on Thursday, while playing on the Dragon Link slot machine by Aristocrat Gaming.

The win is the largest jackpot someone has won at the MGM Grand Detroit, which opened in 1999. The previous jackpot record at MGM Grand Detroit was for $1,127,425 won in July 2008.
